This morning, Baseball Prospectus revealed their ranking of the Rays’ top 10 prospects. To no one’s surprise, Wil Myers, Chris Archer, Taylor Guerrieri, Hak-Ju Lee, and Jake Odorizzi took the top five spots, but there were a couple of surprises in the bottom half. Most noticeably absent are Enny Romero and Tim Beckham, who Baseball America ranked eighth and tenth, respectively, in November. Left-hander Felipe Rivero, the 20th-ranked prospect at BA, made Jason Parks’ list at number nine, though Parks admits that Rivero’s slight frame may not be suitable for the rotation.
